Full Biography (150–300 words)
Dr Scholar Name is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation. Their work brings together methods from behavioural science, design research and data analysis to explore how individuals and organisations make decisions in complex environments. Dr Scholar joined the institution in 2017 after completing a PhD in Human-Centred Systems at the University of Brighton, where their research focused on participatory design methodologies in digital product development.
Before pursuing doctoral studies, Dr Scholar worked as a research associate on several collaborative projects spanning user experience design, digital wellbeing, and workplace innovation. Their academic background also includes experience in teaching research methods, supervising student projects, and contributing to curriculum development.
At present, Dr Scholar is leading a multi-year research project examining the role of data transparency in public-facing digital tools. They regularly present at international conferences, collaborate with industry partners and mentor postgraduate students working on interdisciplinary topics. Their broader interests include ethics of technology, communication design and applied research methodologies.
